Cabbage soup with sour cabbage

Ingredients

- 700 g beef
- 300 g sauerkraut
- 600 g potatoes
- 200 g carrots
- 200 g onions
- parsley root or parsnip
- salt
- pepper
- Bay leaf
Preparation
The meat is boiled until tender (cook for 1-1 .5 hours after boiling).
Then the meat is cut into small pieces.
Add back to the broth.
Finely chop the onion.
Carrots to grate on a coarse grater.
Vegetable oil to fry the onions.
Add the carrots and fry.
Potato peel, cut into cubes or wedges.
In the boiling broth, add potatoes, cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add the cabbage (if cabbage strongly acidic rinse it in cold water), cook for 10 minutes.
Add the fried onions and carrots.
Then add the parsley root or parsnip, pepper, Bay leaf.
If necessary, add salt.
Cook until the potatoes are ready.
