Soup with lentils, bacon and croutons

Lentils can be used as an orange, and green.
Taste like a pea soup, but much more tender, and preparing lentils much faster peas.
The amount of said ingredients is obtained 6-8 servings.

Ingredients

- 200 grams of lentils
- 200 g bacon
- 200 g onion
- bread for croutons
- salt
- pepper
- vegetable fat
Preparation
In a pan pour 2 liters of water, bring to a boil.
In boiling water, add the washed lentils.
Cook until done (as long as indicated on the package with lentils).
Finely chop the onion.
Bacon cut into small strips.
In vegetable oil fry the onion.
Add the bacon, fry well.
In a saucepan add the bacon with lentils, salt and pepper to taste.
Bread cut into cubes.
Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Ready soup pour into bowls, add croutons, sprinkle with herbs.
