Herring under a fur coat

Even if it is corny, but for me Christmas table without this salad is considered to be incomplete.
Cook I the salad in advance, after it is soaked and is brewed, it becomes even tastier.
The number of ingredients is obtained 7-8 servings.
Ingredients

- 300 g fillet ready herring or 1-2 pickled herring
- 300 g potatoes
- 300 g carrots
- 300 g of beet
- 300 g apples
- 150 g onions
- mayonnaise
Preparation
Potatoes and carrots boil until tender.
Beets boil until tender.
Then the vegetables are cool, peel.
Finely chop the onion.
If you use bitter onions, it should pour boiling water and leave for 10 minutes.
Then drain the water, onions, rinse in cold water.
Fillet the fish, cut into small pieces.
If you take a whole herring, then it should be free from bones, fillets finely chopped.
Beets grate.
Carrots to grate.
Potatoes to grate.
Apple peel, grate on medium grater.
At the bottom of a flat dish potatoes, smooth, grease with mayonnaise.
The potatoes put the herring, grease with mayonnaise.
On herring put the onions.
To bow to put the carrot, grease with mayonnaise.
On the carrot to put Apple, grease with mayonnaise.
On top lay the beets, smooth.
Garnish with mayonnaise.
