Perhaps the most popular vegetable salad.
Light but satisfying.
The amount of said ingredients is obtained 7-8 servings.

Ingredients

  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 350 g pepper
  • 400 g of cucumber
  • 150 g onion
  • 200 g of cheese (or feta cheese)
  • 150 g black olives (pitted)

Sauce:

  • 5 tablespoons olive or sunflower oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation

picture - Greek saladCucumber cut lengthwise, then cut into thin slices.

picture - Greek saladPepper remove seeds, cut into strips.

picture - Greek saladOnion cut into half rings.

picture - Greek saladFeta cut into cubes.

picture - Greek saladPrepare the sauce: mix the oil with the lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.

picture - Greek saladIn a salad bowl put the tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions.

picture - Greek saladSeason with the sauce, mix well.
Then gently put cheese (stirring is not necessary, because the cheese is very soft) and whole olives.
Garnish with herbs to taste.
